XP Securities Signs Lease with SL Green’s Tower 46

The financial services firm will occupy the entire 30th floor at the Midtown West office building.

NEW YORK CITY—XP Securities has signed a 10-year lease with SL Green Realty, to occupy 22,518 square feet, the entire 30th floor at Tower 46. The Midtown office building is located at 55 W. 46th St., between Fifth and Sixth avenues. A source close to the deal tells GlobeSt.com that the move will occur in an immediate timeframe and the asking rent is $88 per square foot.

XP Securities, an international financial securities firm, will be moving from 1065 Sixth Ave., also known as 5 Bryant Park. 

Steven Durels, EVP, director of leasing and real property for SL Green, says other high profile tenants in the building include Comcast, Nixon Peabody and Fir Tree. He states the tenants were attracted to “the column-free floors, state-of-the art infrastructure, 14’ height floor slabs, sweeping views and in-building amenities.” He also points to the executive fitness center, parking garage, and close proximity to Grand Central Terminal and Bryant Park.

 Jared Freede of CBRE represented XP Securities, and the CBRE leasing team of Peter Turchin, James Ackerson, Christie Harle and Cara Chayet represented SL Green in the transaction.
