Knotel Leases Full Floor at Former New York Times Building

The flexible workspace provider will occupy 51,000 square feet at 229 W. 43rd St.

NEW YORK CITY—Knotel has subleased 57,104 square feet, the entire eighth floor at 229 W. 43rd Street, the skyscraper known as the former home to The New York Times.

Engine Group had been leasing the space from Columbia Property Trust who owns the office portion of the building. They reached the deal with Knotel, who was represented by Colliers International’s Michael Cohen, John Pavone and Jessica Verdi. John Maher and David Mahoney of CBRE represented Engine.
