Allen Matkins never disappoints during the holiday season. Every year, the Los Angeles real estate law firm welcomes an elite tier of real estate professionals to toast the holiday season at the California Club in Downtown Los Angeles, and this year's bash was no exception. The firm hosted more than 550 industry leaders—from companies including CBRE, Commonwealth Land Title Co. and Hillwood Development—to its annual holiday party, who mingled, sipped cocktails and dined on a light buffet. Fred Allen, Mike Matkins, Tim McGinity and Patrick Perry were among the Allen Matkins partners making the rounds, while the roster of industry leaders included CBRE's David Freitag, Brookfield Properties John Barganski, Commonwealth Land Co.'s Deborah Medway and Hillwood Development's John McClure. Invitations to the event are coveted, and as such the evening has become a holiday season staple for the local Los Angeles real estate industry. It means one thing for industry professionals here: the holiday season has officially commenced.
