Assemblers’ Bedford Park facility

CHICAGO–Assemblers Inc. has signed a lease extension for its 270,789-square-foot facility in Bedford Park, IL. Newmark Knight Frank’s Executive Managing Director Geoffrey Kasselman, and Associate Chris Hill arranged the lease extension.

The private assembly and contract packaging company has occupied this facility since 2014. The space acts as one of three Chicago-area properties for the company’s third-party food production business. The other facilities are located in Chicago and McCook.

“After a thorough review of the market, NKF and Assemblers determined this property continues to represent the best overall value proposition for its clients and employees,” Kasselman said. “This property strategically serves nearly all of Assemblers’ operating needs while also offering synergy with Assemblers’ other area facilities.”

This facility will continue to allow Assemblers to serve its non-food clients and to leverage operating synergies with its other facilities, according to NKF.

Terms of the lease extension were not disclosed. Brian Vanosky and Jeff Janda of Lee & Associates represented property owner GLP in the transaction.
