SAN ANTONIO—Between 2016 and 2017, the city's population grew by 24,208 residents, more than any othercity of 50,000 or more in the nation. It is now the seventh-largestUS city with more than 1.5 million residents, and another 1.1million are expected to be added in the next 25 years, according tothe US Census Bureau.
