MCLEAN, VA—Hilton’s relatively new Tapestry Collection brand is looking to dramatically increase its portfolio in the years to come and has reported that its development pipeline in 2019 totals 45 hotel properties.

Launched in 2017, the Tapestry by Hilton brand more than tripled its portfolio last year adding 14 hotels, , including its first in New York City—The Bernic Hotel New York City— and its first in the Chicago-area—The Rose Hotel Chicago O’Hare.

“As we celebrate entering our third year and our impressive growth since launch, we look forward to welcoming guests in new destinations all over the United States, from New Jersey to California and many great locations in between,” says Jenna Hackett, global head, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. “Simultaneously, we are actively exploring new development opportunities that provide travelers with an original, vibrant hotel experience combined with the benefits of Hilton Honors.”

This year, the Tapestry by Hilton brand will open its first properties on West Coast properties. Among the Tapestry hotels that have recently opened or are slated to join the brand this year include: The Sound Hotel Seattle Belltown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, which will open its doors this month; the Watt Hotel Rahway, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Rahway, NJ, which will open in May; The Revel Urbandale, Tapestry Collection by Hilton (Iowa) in July and The Inn at Saratoga, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Saratoga, CA in July.

In addition, Hilton reported it recently signed deals to add two other hotel properties to join Tapestry Collection by Hilton over the next few years—the Mt. Kiso Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, which will reimagine an existing hotel in the Village of Mount Kiso in Westchester County, NY in 2020 and the Liberty Hotel Savannah, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, a new hotel slated to open in Savannah, GA in 2021.

The brand has also confirmed hotel deals outside of the United States of America in the Caribbean and Peru.
