RICHMOND, VA—HHHunt Corp. is investing $300 million to build new multifamily communities in Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina as part of its larger plan to pursue development opportunities this year.

The three new communities that HHHunt’s Apartment Living division will open in Virginia include Abberly Waterstone in Stafford, VA, Abberly Avera in Manassas, VA and Abberly Centerpointe in Richmond, VA.

In Waldorf, MD, the second phase of Abberly Square will begin construction this year.

In Raleigh, NC, Abberly Solaire remains under construction with its first apartments to be complete in 2019. Construction also will begin in 2019 on Abberly Liberty Crossing in Charlotte, NC.

These six communities represent more than 1,500 new apartment homes.

“After five years of strong growth, 2019 is poised to be another stellar year for HHHunt,” said Dan Schmitt, president and COO of HHHunt. HHHunt’s revenue surpassed $500 million in 2018 and has grown by over 70% in the past five years, according to the company. “As one of the Mid-Atlantic’s largest regional real estate leaders, we’re committed to expanding that growth through intentional, strategic development opportunities,” Schmitt says in a prepared statement.
