CHICAGO—Commercial real estate and investment management services firm JLL reports it has acquired Chicago-based Corporate Concierge Services in a deal that will broaden its growing tenant services offerings.

The acquisition, which went into effect immediately upon closing, brings more than 200 Corporate Concierge Services employees into the JLL fold.

A spokesman for JLL notes that the deal continues JLL’s commitment to bring its clients, across asset types, the best possible tenant experiences as part of its recently launched “JLL Curae Approach.”

Stressing the importance of the deal, the JLL spokesman adds that with the addition of Corporate Concierge Services, JLL now stands as “the leading major real estate firm offering an experience management product. Put simply, market disruptors are shaping the expectations of tenants, and JLL is adapting to meet these changing dynamics.”

No financial terms of the transaction were released.

“Our mission is to bring the level of care and service people experience in the hospitality sector to the office, retail and residential spaces” says Mark Zettl, president, Property Management, Americas for JLL. “The professionals of Corporate Concierge Services provide the human touch tenants need and are the perfect complement to digital initiatives we have already instituted. Simply put, this acquisition puts JLL at the forefront of experience management.”

Founded in 2001 by Tom Larance, Corporate Concierge Services has grown into a firm with employees embedded in 15 markets across the country. Corporate Concierge Services provides amenities and services that range from tenant conveniences in office properties, such as TSA Pre-Check, dry cleaning and pickup/delivery to health and wellness-based events including flu shots and yoga classes. The firm also offers concierge services in retail and multifamily buildings.

Some of the amenities that landlords will be able to offer to their tenants through JLL’s recently launched Curae Approach include yoga, self-defense classes, wellness programs, social programming and educational seminars. Zettl told Globest.com recently that the program is also striking partnerships to supplement its offerings.
