Industrial Commercial Properties Adds Kern and Hill, Two Seasoned Executives, to Leadership Team

Kern will oversee the company’s asset management practices and play a lead role on transactions and development projects. Hill will be responsible for ICP’s financial planning and accounting practices, as well as its relationships with lending institutions, investors and the financial community.

CLEVELAND, OH—Cleveland- based Industrial Commercial Properties named Bill Kern executive vice president and Andy Hill senior vice president of finance.

With the addition of Bill and Andy, our executive team is poised to steer our company during this time of extraordinary growth,” says Chris Semarjian, owner of ICP. “They can help foster and expand our partnership with Industrial Realty Group, while simultaneously supporting our expanding ICP portfolio and tenant base.”

Kern will oversee the company’s asset management practices and play a lead role on transactions and development projects. He will also spearhead the company’s increased focus on tenant retention.

Kern was most recently senior vice president of leasing and national accounts at DDR Corp./ SITE Centers, a publicly traded real estate investment trust, where he directed the leasing department for the western US and Puerto Rico, a portfolio consisting of approximately 30 million square feet. He also oversaw the national accounts department, with relationship management responsibilities for the company’s fifty largest tenants. He holds a degree in economics from Colgate University.

Hill will be responsible for ICP’s financial planning and accounting practices, as well as its relationships with lending institutions, investors and the financial community. For 13 years, Hill was a vice president at Forest City Realty Trust, where he oversaw loan closings totaling more than $1.5 Billion over the previous five years.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Marketing from Ohio University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Miami University, Oxford, OH.
