CHICAGO, IL—Kiser Group and AffordableHousing Investment Brokerage arranged the sale ofRenaissance North in Chicago's Old Townneighborhood for $15.45 million. Kiser Group'ssenior director Michael D'Agostino andAffordable Housing Investment Brokerage managingdirector Kyle Shoemaker represented the buyer, anational investment fund focused on workforce and affordablehousing, and seller Renaissance Companies.
Renaissance North, located at 551 W.North Ave., is a 59-unit apartment building with groundfloor retail in Chicago's Old Town neighborhood. Builtin 2003 under the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit programand HOME funds via the City of Chicago, and 18 units are subsidizedby an agreement with the Chicago HousingAuthority.
