TYSONS—Washington, DC-area developer Renaissance has broken ground on the 20-story Monarch condominium tower at 7887 Jones Branch Dr., with delivery scheduled for late 2020.

Monarch’s 94 residences, which range from 880 to 3,400 square feet, are priced from the $600,000s to just over $3 million. The building will have two to six units per floor that include outdoor balconies or terraces. Many of the units will have semi-private elevator access.

The Monarch is located within Arbor Row, a 19-acre community close to the Tysons Corner Metro station and the Tysons Galleria shopping mall. The former site of 1970s-era office buildings, Arbor Row will soon have more than 2,500 residences as well as 35,000 square feet of ground-level restaurants and shops.

“Arbor Row is the new Tysons’ most livable neighborhood,” Albert H. Small, Jr., founder of Renaissance, says in a prepared statement. “There already are pedestrian pathways that lead to enticing restaurants and shops, and more green space than you will find anywhere else in Tysons. With both Wegman’s and Whole Foods opening soon in the immediate area, Arbor Row will offer extensive options to support a healthy lifestyle.”

Sales are being managed by The Mayhood Company. Renaissance has built thousands of single-family and multifamily homes throughout Northern Virginia.
