SAN FRANCISCO—Greystar Real Estate Partners LLC was selected by the University of California Hastings College of the Law as the master developer for campus housing, academic and mixed-use developments for its McAllister Street campus. The $450 million project will be delivered in two phases, providing more than 900 units to the UC Hastings campus for students, faculty and staff, along with a renovation of the historic 100 McAllister building.

Greystar is focused on establishing long-term public-private partnerships with colleges and universities to develop and revitalize on-campus housing across the country. Last month, Greystar Real Estate Partners’ University Partnerships platform reported it has exceeded $1.7 billion in awarded projects including developments with Sacramento State University, Salisbury University, University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, Mississippi State University and Lehigh University.

To support the continued expansion of its on-campus portfolio, Greystar has bolstered the team dedicated to this critical element of its student housing platform. Julie Skolnicki, who served as senior vice president of university partnerships at EdR prior to its merger with Greystar last September, has been promoted to senior managing director, university partnerships and will lead the platform as it continues to scale nationally.
