HOBOKEN, NJ—Construction began this week on a major mixed-use project at 1000 Maxwell Lane, the final building in Toll Brothers City Living's major mixed-use development at historic Maxwell Place being developed with Pinnacle Downtown.

1000 Maxwell Lane will feature street-level retail, office space and luxury condominiums. The development at the intersection of 11th Street and Maxwell Lane in Uptown Hoboken, is part of Toll Brothers City Living's larger Maxwell Place development that includes three luxury residential towers comprising 755 units, a waterfront park, and a diverse mix of retail.

1000 Maxwell Lane will feature additional street-level retail, six stories of state-of-the-art office, and five stories of condominiums.

Transwestern Commercial Services has been retained to provide leasing services for the 110,800 square feet of planned office space, with TCS managing director Matt McDonough heading the leasing team.

Transwestern notes that in addition to being able to recruit and retain top talent by offering of high-function workspace designed to spur creativity and collaboration, office tenants of the new building will benefit from a prime location in the sought-after uptown Hoboken neighborhood that offers direct ferry service to Manhattan. The site is also located near the Stevens Institute of Technology, which is one of the premier engineering and technology institutions on the East Coast.

Maxwell Place is adjacent to the 14th Street NY Waterway ferry terminal, approximately a mile from the Lincoln Tunnel entrance and Route 495, which provides access to the New Jersey Turnpike as well as Routes 3, 1 and 9. Multiple public transportation options are available in the area including the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, PATH trains, NJ Transit lines, and NY Waterway.
