WeWork and RXR Team Up at 75 Rockefeller Plaza

Flexible offices take another new turn as two leading companies agree to share build-out costs and revenue generated from leases.

NEW YORK CITY—RXR Realty and WeWork have formed a new kind of collaborative agreement at 75 Rockefeller Plaza. The two companies will share the costs to build out 90,000 square feet of space across four floors. WeWork will lead the design and programming at the location. Both companies will share in the revenue generated by the space.

Although for WeWork, this is the first agreement of this nature in New York City, the flexible office provider states it has had success with similar partnerships in Latin America, Europe and Asia. This includes with TH Real Estate in London, Daman Land in Malaysia, Gemdale Properties in China and Helbor In Brazil.
