GE has signed a 12-year lease for the refurbished Necco brick buildings for its permanent HQ space. The two brick buildings include 95,000 square feet of space, with a bistro on the first floor, and will house GE’s senior executive team and approximately 250 GE employees. BOSTON—A joint venture of Alexandria Real Estate Equities, National Development and its private equity affiliate Charles River Realty Investors has signed a deal to acquire the 2.7-acre Fort Point headquarters property of GE in a deal valued at $252 million.
