PHILADELPHIA—CBRE has added Nicole Johnson to its Philadelphia area brokerage operations. The retail real estate veteran joins the firm as senior vice president and will focus on landlord representation and project leasing for shopping centers and mixed-use developments in the region.

Prior to joining CBRE, she served as the VP of retail leasing at Lakewood, NJ-based Paramount Realty Services, where she managed the leasing department for 30 portfolio properties totaling 5 million square feet including power centers, lifestyle centers and neighborhood centers across five states in the Northeast.

Throughout her career, Johnson, who will partner with CBRE’s Jeffrey Cohen and Nelson Wax, has represented some of the most prominent landlords in the region including Kimco Realty, Urban Edge Properties, National Realty Corporation and Steiner Equities Group, among others.

“Nicole’s extensive experience in shopping center leasing, marketing and development, coupled with her strong management and leadership background, will allow her to offer exceptional outcomes for our retail clients in the greater Philadelphia region,” said Adam Mullen, Market Leader, CBRE.

“In today’s environment, protecting and enhancing the value invested in multi-tenant retail centers is a critical landlord need not fully served by most brokerage teams,” Johnson said. “Our team’s relationships with retailers, extensive renovation and conversion experience, and ground up project leasing background will allow us to fully represent retail landlord clients better than the competition.”
