SVA Architects is behind some of the most noteworthy apartment and community center designs in Southern California. The architecture firm has won four awards at the 2019 Gold Nugget Awards of Merit for its designs of apartment buildings in Southern California.

The winning buildings include Jordan Downs Phase 1B in Los Angeles, which received the Judges Special Award of Excellence; Legacy Square in Santa Ana, which won for Best On-the-Boards Affordable Housing Community; California Baptist University Events Center in Riverside, winning for Best Special Use Project; Chaffey College Academic Villages at Chino and Fontana Campuses in Chino and Fontana, which won for Best Educational Project.

SVA designs several different asset classes, focusing on urban mixed-use, affordable, event center, and higher education design.
