NEW YORK CITY—As Memorial Day reminds the country of the serviceand sacrifices of men and women in the military, the Fisher HouseFoundation demonstrates how real estate can give back to those inthe armed services and their families. The foundation built twohomes at 130 Westbridge Road in the Bronx, New York. The facilitieswill provide free lodging for 32 families of military members andveterans allowing them to be close to those hospitalized at theJames J. Peters VA Medical Center.

I wasborn and raised in the Bronx, so it's like coming home” says KenFisher, chairman and CEO of Fisher House Foundation. “I want ourveterans and their families to know when they walk in the door of aFisher House that America cares and we thank them for their serviceand honor that service in a tangible way.”
