Trojan Storage, a self-storage developer, has acquired a 1.87-acre land site in Glendale, California, from a local owner for $9 million. The developer plans to build a 220,000-square-foot self-storage facility on the site.

The new facility is located at 620 W. Elk Avenue near the 5-freeway. The project will be Trojan Storage's first Glendale and its sixth property in the Los Angeles area. The Glendale market in particular has a strong multifamily development pipeline and strong apartment demand, and the self-storage facility will support that market.

CBRE's Emil Gurfinkel and Ken McLeod represented the buyer and the seller in the deal.
