Digitalsigns pinpoint the exact pick-up location for Lyft cars at SantaClara Square.
SANTA CLARA, CA—A new approach for easily connecting rideshare drivers and customers has been introduced at SantaClara Square: digital signs that pinpoint the exact pick-uplocation. The system, a collaboration between Irvine Company, Lyftand RideStop, allows Lyft drivers and tenants/visitors to meet upwithin the 100-acre mixed-use community. It establishes pre-seteasy-to-find pick-up locations that are identifiable by numberedyellow, black and gray RideStop signs.
“We're very excited about this program because it already hasimproved the overall rideshare experience for our office customersand visitors by letting them know exactly where to connect withtheir rides,” said Todd Hedrick, regional vice president, IrvineCompany Office Properties. “Besides saving them time, it increasessafety by improving the flow of vehicles and people at ourworkplace communities.”
