In preparation for our Women of Influencespecial feature and retreat, Real EstateForum and GlobeSt.com together is putting a spotlighton the achievements of women in commercial real estate. This year,we collected nominations across a number of fields, with the awardsto be presented at our inaugural GlobeSt.ELITEWomen of Influence Conference and this year's amountof entries, was our biggest yet.
For the field of humanitarian, we were looking for people whohave gone steps above merely writing a check or running a race.True humanitarians are passionate about a cause and take action,often beyond the professional responsibilities, to further thatcause. Often this includes working to improve the welfare ofhumankind, including significant contributions benefiting one'scommunity through charitable work, philanthropy, education, serviceand other efforts—without the expectation of compensation oraccolades other than the satisfaction obtained by helpingothers.
These women below have shown significant commitment to others,or another social cause, within the CRE industry. These individualshave made positive contributions to their community or theindustry, and their work and commitment to a cause hasserved as asource of inspiration.
