GlobeSt.com ELITE Global CRE Investor Forum Debuts This October

The invitation-only event will be held from October 21st to the 23rd at the Evian Resort in Evian les-Bains, France, on the south shore of Lake Geneva.

Global investment flows have always been a mainstay of the commercial real estate industry. Investors from countries such as China, Germany, the UK and Korea have steadily invested in US real estate assets for decades, normally keeping to the gateway markets and trophy assets. In recent years, however, a shift has been happening: these investors are increasingly seeking out new markets and different types of assets, some of which are value add plays. Likewise US investors, many of which are increasingly looking for yield beyond borders in such regions as Continental Europe and Asia.

As these institutional players drill down deeper into the commercial real estate asset stack, GlobeSt.com Events is answering the call for information about these global transactions. We are launching our inaugural Global CRE Investor Forum this Oct 21-23 at the Evian Resort in Evian les-Bains, France, on the south shore of Lake Geneva.

This invitation-only event will be attended by the industry’s global top 5% of deal makers and influencers and will provide them an opportunity to connect and collaborate with peers on the issues of the day.

It is rare that investors of this caliber have such an opportunity to gather, says Scott Thompson, Vice President & Global Events Director — Real Estate. “Networking, discussions and deal-making will all be a crucial part of this event for participants.”

The event is also timely for investors seeking data about the current state of the market. The opening keynote will focus on the market in 2025 and what real estate will look like around the world. Other sessions will look at demographic trends and forecasts for markets around the world. Peppered throughout the days will be numerous opportunities for networking. “Attending the Forum is a great way to socialize and make deals with motivated capital players, buyers and sellers from the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific,” says Steve Pumper, executive managing partner at Transwestern.

“We expect our participants to walk away from this event well prepared for the end of this cycle and the beginning of the next one,” Thompson says.

The event is being guided by a high-level Advisory Board that have been collaborating with journalists from GlobeSt.com as well as our programmers to shape an agenda focusing on the most pertinent issues currently affecting the international investment market. Michael G. Desiato is helping to lead this effort as co-chairman of the GlobeSt.ELITE Global Investors Forum.

GlobeSt.com, also monitoring this trend, is launching a bi-weekly newsletter that covers news, developments and executive insights in global commercial real estate that are of interest to institutional investors. “Between GlobeSt.com Events and the launch of GlobeSt.com Global CRE Investors we expect to have this piece of the CRE market well covered,” Thompson says.
