Cresset-Diversified QOZFund and Hines have announced plans tobuild North Wynkoop, a 10-story, 392-unit apartment complex inDenver's North River neighborhood, a designated opportunity zone.The project will be one of the first opportunity zone projects inthe Denver market.

The North River area, or RiNo as it is called, is a growingcultural hub in Denver and has light rail access. North Wynkoop ispart of a larger area redevelopment plan for the submarket thatincludes a hotel, event center and office building. Construction ofNorth Wynkoop will begin in early 2020.

The Cresset-Diversified QOZ Fund is a $500 million fund focusedon investing in QOZs. North Wynkoop is the second project in thefund.
