ATLANTA—Touted by the commercial brokerage firm as its largest Workplace360 office in the world, CBRE has moved into its nearly 100,000-square-foot location at Three Alliance Center here.

The new office, which spans four floors at the 30-story office tower, consolidates two former offices into one location with employees from the former CBRE office at Terminus 100 and CBRE | Heery’s former office at 999 Peachtree. CBRE | Heery, which CBRE acquired in 2017, served as the interior design and engineering partners in the creation of the new office at Three Alliance Center, CBRE states.

The new office Three Alliance provides employees with 12 spaces to work from, including free address desks, team work areas, and technology-enabled conference rooms and huddle rooms. Employee wellbeing is a core focus for the office, CBRE notes, with adjustable standing desks for all employees, access to natural light throughout the space, access to a fitness center in the building, as well as healthy snacks and multiple water stations.

The new Atlanta office is CBRE’s 50th Workplace 360 office in the US.

The office also features murals and artwork from local artists and showcases works from CBRE’s global Urban Photographer of the Year contest winners. The overall office design captures Atlanta’s culture, with nature and local neighborhoods or local historical figures highlighted throughout the four floors.

“At CBRE, we pride ourselves in knowing how to enhance the workplace experience to drive business change,” says John Ferguson, CBRE Southeast Division president. “Not only is our new office poised to deliver an exceptional experience for our own employees, but it will also serve as a beacon for our occupier clients who are looking to enhance their own workplaces.”

He adds, “Our new space builds on the tremendous success of the Workplace360 initiative implemented in other CBRE offices around the world and represents an intentional effort to bring our employees together under one roof and spark further collaboration that will allow us to deliver even better outcomes for our clients.”

The development of the new office involved a collaboration across multiple CBRE services and departments, including Global Facilities, Workplace, Project Management, Business Transition and Move Management, Advisory & Transaction Services, and CBRE | Heery’s Engineering and Design teams. Additionally, the company sought input from employees through both a formal committee and employee surveys.

“By providing a world-class office experience that drives collaboration and productivity, we are able to help our employees feel more engaged, which directly impacts our ability to deliver exceptional service and outcomes for our clients” says Peter Van Emburgh, global director of corporate workplace and facilities for CBRE.
