Real Estate Forum is Seeking Senior Housing Influencers

Nominations are open for Real Estate Forum’s next installment of Influencers. The submission deadline for senior housing influencers is August 30, 2019.

Interest in senior housing real estate continues to rise throughout the country, due to an increase in demand and a change in desires. According to recent studies, 4.7 million senior residents will prospectively join the senior housing market within the next five years; a result of an expected population increase of 21% in seniors aged 75 and older.

This generation is seeking new alternatives to traditional senior living facilities, desiring continued freedom and modern amenities for their social lifestyles. Aiming to ensure a progressive, stable quality-of-life, developers and communities alike are taking notice and looking to create luxury “resort-style” living communities to assist seniors in their eventual life change. Professionals across the industry are also acknowledging the need for technology updates in senior living facilities, seeking to integrate digital doctor-patient communication systems for increased efficiency and relaxed environments.

Real estate professionals are capitalizing on this new demographic dynamic, allowing for creative solutions and developments catered to senior’s current needs and desires. Senior housing proposals have significantly expanded, gaining interested across the entire industry with many ground-up developments.

GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum is looking to highlight those who that have helped shape the senior housing real estate market and continue to drive its spectacular performance. Our next Influencer series will profile innovative individuals, teams and firms that have made an impact, becoming crucial to the industry. Nominees will be featured in Real Estate Forum’s November/December issue.

What information/data will I need to apply/?

The complete nomination form, including all questions and word limits, is available for download here. Please note that this is for preparation purposes only. The final nomination must be submitted online.

Who may apply?

The form is open to any individual or organization whose primary business is in multifamily real estate and related fields, such as law, research, design and consulting.

Can I nominate myself?

Yes. We accept self-nominations as well as third-party submissions.

How and when will winners be notified?

Editorial staff will send email notifications to the winners and submitters by the middle of September. Due to the high volume of nominations we receive, only those selected will be notified.

When will the issue come out?

Real Estate Forum will profile the Influencers in Senior Housing Real Estate in the November/December 2019 issue. Winners will also gain recognition on GlobeSt.com.

Is there a fee to apply?

No. Submission to this, and all of our editorial content, is free.

How do I increase my chances of being selected?

Be as descriptive, yet concise as possible. Sounds redundant, but it’s simple. Provide details on why you think your entry should be chosen as an Influencer, but leave out the fluff, like marketing content and self-congratulatory comments. We don’t mind reading long entries, but don’t hide the items of importance within pages of trivialities. Support your entry and statements with backup information—we love facts and figures—or files such as media coverage.
