Glassdoor Expanding Presence in Chicago at Trammell Crow Office Tower
Mill Valley, CA-based Glassdoor says it intends to maintain its offices at 1330 West Fulton once it takes over its new space at the 300,000-square-foot, 14-story 1375 West Fulton in the summer of 2020.
CHICAGO—Global human resources technology firm Glassdoor reports it has signed a lease for 52,000 square feet at Trammell Crow Co.’s West End on Fulton building currently under construction.
The lease deal brokered by CBRE will expand the online jobsite’s operations in Chicago. The firm already has an office at 1330 West Fulton and its new space at West End on Fulton (1375 West Fulton) can accommodate up to 400 employees. Kyle Kamin and Dan Persa of CBRE represented Glass Door in the transaction. Sara Spicklemire and Kelsey Scheive of CBRE represented the developer, Trammell Crow Co.
Glassdoor, which announced in May it will be relocating its corporate headquarters to San Francisco, says it plans to create up to 500 new jobs in Chicago over the next several years. In less than three years, Glassdoor’s Chicago office has grown from 30 employees to approximately 300 employees in its sales, customer success, product, engineering and other teams.

Glassdoor has localized sites and mobile apps in 18 markets around the world and recently expanded into Singapore, Hong Kong and New Zealand and Latin America.
Glassdoor employs approximately 900 people globally and has offices in San Francisco, Mill Valley, Chicago, Uniontown, OH, London, Dublin, Sao Paulo and recently opened a Paris office.
In June the company reported it had opened its first office in Germany, located in Downtown Hamburg. A month earlier, Glassdoor announced plans to relocate its global headquarters from Mill Valley to San Francisco during the fall of 2020. Glassdoor plans to create 300 additional Bay Area jobs over the next five years.
Glassdoor’s new global headquarters will be located at 300 Mission St., currently known as 50 Beale St. Glassdoor will initially lease four full floors with a capacity of up to 800 employees across its executive leadership, operations, engineering, product, sales, customer success, marketing, administrative and other teams.
