Antiques Dealer Buys Hampton, NJ Retail Building

The deal allows Barb’s Treasures, an expanding independent retailer, to operate in a larger retail location.

HAMPTON, NJ—An antiques dealer will be growing its retail business here after acquiring a 6,000-square-foot retail building at 10 Route 94 .

The transaction was reported by brokerage firm NAI James E. Hanson. The brokerage firm’s Joe Vindigni represented both the seller, Nadine Barbagallo, and the buyer, William and Barbara Martin, in the transaction.

The deal allows Barb’s Treasures, an expanding independent retailer, to operate in a larger retail location. Barb’s Treasures features a vast inventory of retail antiques and collectibles and also specializes in consignment.

As a growing business, 10 Route 94 was the perfect size and location for the retailer’s second warehouse, Vindigni notes.

No financial terms of the transaction were disclosed.

Conveniently located directly off Route 94, the property offers proximity to Routes 15 and 206 with access to a population of more than 24,000 potential shoppers within a three-mile radius. Featuring ample parking for up to 22 cars, an overhead door and 10’ ceilings, the property boasts multiple rooms and open areas ideal for retail use. Upgrades to the facility were also recently completed, including the addition of a new roof.
