INDIANAPOLIS—Cresa is expanding its Indianapolis brokerage operations by merging with O’Brien Commercial Real Estate, LLC of Indianapolis.

The merger, which was effective on July 1, will have the combined company operate under the Cresa name. All employees of both firms were retained.

Cresa, which established its Indianapolis office in 1998, operates under the direction of managing principals Jim Teskey and David Black, and is further strengthened by principal Leslie Teskey. Both O’Brien Commercial and Cresa focus exclusively on commercial real estate occupier services, specifically tenant representation.

Tim O’Brien, president and owner of O’Brien Commercial since 2014, is now a principal in the Cresa Indianapolis office. O’Brien has 25 years of commercial real estate experience and previously served as president of Colliers’ Indiana region.

“We welcome the depth of experience, expertise, and professionalism that Tim brings to our organization and look forward to his leadership as we continue to grow Cresa Indianapolis,” says Jim Teskey.

“I am very excited to join Cresa.  It’s a great company with a fabulous platform devoted to serving business owners’ real estate needs.  This is such a natural partnership and we’re excited about growing the Indianapolis office,” O’Brien adds.

In April, Cresa announced it had completed the acquisition of Portfolio Solutions Group, a full-service lease administration, accounting and abstracting services company based in Chicago. The firm that month also reported that it had added veteran real estate executives to its operations in the Silicon Valley and Boston, as well as the market leader for its Atlanta office.
