Bank of America Tower Totaling 780,000 square feet, Bank of America Tower uses 32% less energy than typical baseline facilities.

HOUSTON—US Green Building Council/USGBC has recognized Bank of America Tower, Skanska’s downtown office development, as the first LEED v4 Platinum Core and Shell certified project in the United States. The tower totals 780,000 square feet from its location at 800 Capitol St.

“Sustainability is fundamental to Skanska’s DNA as a global developer and contractor, and we are always looking to push the envelope when it comes to sustainable design and function,” said Matt Damborsky, executive vice president for Skanska USA Commercial Development in Houston. “We believe Bank of America Tower is a shining example of the future of sustainable development in Houston.”
