A joint venture between Wexford Lodging Advisors and Trinity Private Equity Group has acquired Marriott Kansas City Overland Park, a 398-room hotel. The joint venture plans to invest an additional $17 million in upgrades at the property, including interior guestrooms.

Marriott Kansas City Overland Park is located at 10800 Metcalf Ave. and is an the 11-story hotel situated along I-435 within 20 million square feet of office space, proximate to major headquarter offices, including Black & Veatch, Sprint, YRC and AMC Theaters.

The renovation will include meeting space and lobby as well as new additions. The new owners will introduce Marriott’s M Club concierge lounge as well as development of a brand new best-in-class fitness center experience.
