Lee & Associates Adds Two RE Veterans to PA Brokerage Operations

MECHANICSBURG, PA—National commercial real estate brokerage firm Lee & Associates has added Gary Nalbandian and Brad Swidler as principals with the firm, joining the firm’s central Pennsylvania operations here.

Both Nalbandian and Swidler come to Lee & Associates from NAI CIR, a brokerage firm founded by Nalbandian in 1970. While at NAI CIR, Nalbandian was a mentor to John Van Buskirk, SIOR, the co-founder of Lee & Associates of eastern Pennsylvania.

With more than 50 years of real estate banking and finance experience, Nalbandian specializes in multiple key business lines including sales and leasing of commercial and industrial properties, project development in the retail sector, planning consultancy, acquisition of municipal and zoning approvals, and financing of commercial properties. In his new role, he will focus on leasing and sales, but will also serve as a leader and mentor to the company’s team of up-and-coming agents and its established platform of senior associates, the company states.

In addition to NAI CIR, Nalbandian also served as the founder, chairman, president and CEO of Metro Bank, a $3-billion asset bank with 34 offices across the region. He earned his B.A. from Penn State University, and is a licensed real estate broker in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He also sits on the boards of several organizations and is a member of multiple real estate and finance organizations.

Swidler brings 25 years of commercial, retail and industrial sales and leasing real estate experience to Lee & Associates from NAI CIR, where he successfully negotiated transactions on behalf of numerous Fortune 500 companies and private investors. He has brokered various transactions for retail stores, restaurants, car dealerships and laundromats. Swidler earned a degree in real estate and finance from the John L. Grove College of Business, Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, and is a licensed real estate agent in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He also is a member of several real estate organizations.
