Ryan W. Smith has joined Allen Matkins’ Orange County office as a litigation partner. The appointment is part of the firm’s ongoing expansion.

In the role, Smith will represent companies and high-net-worth individuals in a variety of complex business, commercial, and civil litigation matters in state and federal courts. He also represents entrepreneurs in disputes related to portfolios of investment properties throughout the Southwestern U.S.

Smith holds a juris doctorate from UCLA School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Boston College, and he served in the United States Marine Corps.
