Marquee Brands Finalizes Lease at Vornado Office Space

Vornado’s 330 West 34th Street was designed by Schultze and Weaver, and construction on the 18- story building was completed in 1926.

NEW YORK CITY—Marquee Brands LLC has finalized a lease at 330 W. 34th St. with building owner Vornado Realty Trust. The global brand owner, marketing and media company signed a lease for 27,811 square feet of office space at the Class A, 682,000-square-foot commercial office building.

The tenant was represented by Mitchell Konsker and Alexander Chudnoff, vice chairmen; Benjamin Bass, managing director; and Harrison Potter, associate, all with JLL. Building owner Vornado was represented in-house by Josh Glick, senior vice president, and Jared Silverman, vice president.

Marquee Brand’s offices into a full floor overlooking the redevelopment of Farley Post Office, anchored by two huge terraces on both the north and south side of the floor.

“Marquee Brands engaged us to find a new office for its growing organization following its acquisition of the Martha Stewart and Emeril Lagasse brands. Martha Stewart and Marquee’s home and food division will relocate from 601 W. 26th St. and join Marquee on the entire 15th floor,” says Bass in a prepared statement. “Given the building’s amenities, outdoor space and dynamic location, the consolidation will allow Marquee Brands to develop a truly one-of-a-kind office, complete with showrooms, production studio, test kitchen and a variety of collaboration areas for all of their brands which include Emeril Lagasse, BCBG, Ben Sherman and many others.”

Vornado’s 330 W. 34th St. was designed by Schultze and Weaver, and construction on the 18- story building was completed in 1926. The property is a uniquely situated property at the gateway to major development on the west side of Manhattan. The building owner recently completed a major redevelopment which has made the building a destination for creative class tenants. Features include a modernized lobby, storefront entrance and notable ground floor amenities center and social spaces, such as a large outdoor patio.
