Long Beach PortCargo volumes fell again in the month of August at the Port of Long Beach. According to the latest data from the port, cargo volumes were down 2.3% year-over-year with a total of 663,992 TEUs handled at the port.

Despite the decrease in activity compared to last year—which was among the most active years on record—this August ranked as the fifth busiest August in the port’s history.
