American Dream Previews October 25th Opening

On Oct. 25, The Shredder, The Shellraiser and Nickelodeon’s Skyline Scream, come to life when the Western Hemisphere’s largest indoor theme park opens.

American Dream will open on Oct. 25.

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ—Triple Five, the developer of the nearly 3-million-square-foot American Dream shopping center, has provided some details on planned openings at the massive complex on opening day on Oct. 25 as well as scheduled openings of other major features.

On Oct. 25, The Shredder, The Shellraiser and Nickelodeon’s Skyline Scream, come to life when the Western Hemisphere’s largest indoor theme park opens.

The park features more than 35 rides, rollercoasters and attractions for families and thrill-seekers, including. SpongeBob, Dora The Explorer, and other Nickelodeon characters.

Triple Five says that visitors will “enjoy miles of smiles, jaw-dropping moments, gallons of slime and live entertainment on the Nickelodeon Slime Stage.”

Another major feature scheduled for the Oct. 25th opening is American Dream’s NHL-regulation size ice rink that will feature open skating, figure skating, hockey tournaments, events and more. A spooky skate is planned for October 31.

Other scheduled openings at American Dream announced by Triple Five include the DreamWorks Water Park, which will open on Nov, 27th, the Big Snow indoor snow park on Dec. 5th and the opening of more than 350 retailers at the complex in March 2020.

Among the retailers set to open their doors for the first time in March 2020 include Hermès, Dolce & Gabbana, Saint Laurent and Moncler, Saks Fifth Avenue, Tiffany & Co., Zara, H&M, Uniqlo and Primark.

In addition, more than 100 curated dining destinations will open for business. They will be joined by Merlin Entertainments’ SEA LIFE Aquarium and LEGOLAND Discovery Center, CMX Luxury Movie Theater, Kidzania and a 300-foot Observation Wheel.
