NEW YORK CITY – Global real estate investment firm Hines has entered a joint venture with developers SunCal and Diversified Realty Advisors to construct Edge-on-Hudson, a luxury suburban multifamily development based in Sleepy Hollow, New York.

Hines acquired Parcel F of the development and will construct the 5-story luxury apartment complex. The project includes 246 luxury apartments in Phase Two along the Hudson River, a block away from the river’s edge.

Made up of townhomes and condos, Edge-on-Hudson is a mixed-use, development on the 70-acre site of the former General Motors Assembly Plant. The property is 25 miles north of New York City and walking distance of two Metro-North train stations.

Phase One of the development includes townhomes, which are already under construction, and with sales way underway.

“Edge-on-Hudson has every attribute we seek in successful development, including superb transit access and an extraordinary setting, including the vibrant Village of Sleepy Hollow,” said Tommy Craig, Hines Tristate office head, in a prepared statement.
