Newmark Knight Frank Bulks National Loan Advisory Team

The added expertise will go to strategizing opportunities and expanding customer focus in loan sales advisory.

NEW YORK CITY – Newmark Knight Frank has hired three loan sales advisory professionals to expand its national platform. The seasoned team includes Executive Managing Director Brock Cannon, Managing Director Patrick Arnold and Director Stephen Schwalb, who will join from HFF, which is now a part of JLL. Combined, they have more than 34 years of experience.

The added expertise will go to strategizing opportunities and expanding customer focus in loan sales advisory, providing the firm greater bandwith to service client with the heftier team, according to Jeff Day, NKF Chief Strategy Officer and President, Head of Multifamily Capital Markets.

“The addition of these experts will further strengthen our national platform and materially increase our presence in the space,” Day said in a prepared statement.

Cannon, Arnold and Schwalb have sold performing and non-performing and real estate owned loans, with a diverse client list ranging from banks and life insurance companies to special servicers and debt funds.

Cannon is based in New York and has 13 years of experience in real estate finance. His responsibilities include national loan sales and portfolio sales. Prior to his time at HFF in Chicago and Denver, he worked at CBRE in Houston.

Like Cannon, Arnold has eleven years of experience with varying types of loan sale transactions. Based in Atlanta, his prior experience includes JLL and Mission Capital Advisors.

To complete the three-person team is Schwalb. He is based in Dallas and has over 10 years of experience in commercial real estate finance.
