NEW YORK CITY – Brookfield Properties opened the doors at its 67-story office tower One Manhattan West, located at the corner of Ninth Avenue and 33rd Street on Manhattan’s West Side. The 2.1-million-square-foot tower is the first to open at Brookfield’s eight-acre Manhattan West Complex.

Architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill designed One Manhattan West, which is approximately 90% leased. Tenants include Accenture, EY, McKool Smith, the National Hockey League and Skadden Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

Manhattan West stretches from Ninth to Tenth Avenues. When completed, the site will total six million square feet of Class-A office space, 844 luxury units at The Eugene, and the Pendry Manhattan West boutique hotel. The complex will also feature more than 200,000 square feet of retail amenities.

Other commercial properties in the Manhattan West complex is Two Manhattan West, a 58-story, 1.9-million-square-foot office tower on the southeast corner at 31st Street and Ninth Avenue, that Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP will anchor. At Five Manhattan West, a 15-story office tower with floor plates over 110,000 square feet, companies such as Amazon, JP Morgan Chase, Markit and R/GA Media call the 100 percent leased property home and Whole Foods and Peloton anchor the ground-floor retail.

Manhattan West sits adjacent to Empire Station/Penn Station Complex and is near the 7-train station at Hudson Yards and one block away is the A, C, E, 1, 2, 3 subway lines, New Jersey Transit, the Long Island Railroad and Amtrak.
