Hines and JP Morgan Chase and Co. have secured $1.2 billion loan to refinance Century Plaza Towers, a two-building, 2.4 million-square-foot complex located at 2029 and 2049 Century Park East.

The loan has a 10-year term. Deutsche Bank, Wells Fargo & Co. and Morgan Stanley Bank served as the lenders in the transaction.

Real Estate law firm Stroock represented the borrower in the deal. The team included Mike McCarthy, a partner in Stroock's Real Estate practice and Ankush Israni, an associate in Stroock's Real Estate practice.
