Avison Young to Oversee Buildout of LinkedIn’s Empire State Headquarters

LinkedIn has brought on Avison Young in New York to oversee the reposition of its 500,000-square-foot headquarters at the Empire State Building.

NEW YORK CITY–LinkedIn has brought on Avison Young in New York to oversee the repositioning of its 11-floor headquarters, totaling 500,000 square feet at the Empire State Building in Midtown.

Avison Young’s Principal Kirsten Beck and Senior Project Manager Robb Davidson will lead LinkedIn’s project management team to shape the buildout of the vertical campus since its recent lease expansion at the property, which included the addition of three floors.

“Our expertise in project management and construction working with our other tech and innovative clients brings a strong foundation to this project,” Beck said in a prepared statement.

The team was awarded the project through a national master service agreement in Avison Young’s Chicago office to bring cohesion to the vertical campus after the professional networking web platform added floors 14, 15 and 16 to its existing space across the third floor and floors 22 through 28.

“Anticipating LinkedIn’s continued growth, we plan to use our expertise to implement changes that will unify the space across multiple floors without disruption to existing operations,” Davidson said in a prepared statement.
