Wollan Joins C&W With Keen Understanding of Seismic Shifts in CRE

As managing director of investor services, Wollan intends to capitalize on technologies and data analytics capabilities, the shift toward more agile workplaces and the macro trends driving urbanization.

Wollan says investors want to work with an advisor who understands the impact of trends on existing portfolios.

SAN FRANCISCO—In an industry increasingly focused on young professionals and a diverse workforce, women are making strides in the commercial real estate world with each passing day. The latest example is Kristina Wollan, who joins Cushman & Wakefield as managing director/Western regional lead of investor services based in San Francisco.

“It’s an exciting time in our industry with the seismic shifts we’re experiencing, from the rapid introduction of new innovative technologies and data analytics capabilities, to the paradigm shift toward more agile workplaces, to the macro trends driving urbanization with an increasing focus on long-term sustainability,” Wollan tells GlobeSt.com. “Investors are keen to work with an advisor who understands the impact of these trends on their existing portfolios, and who is proactively addressing these shifts with a client-first perspective.”

In her new role, Wollan will be charged with ensuring the firm’s largest clients receive the highest level of client service, advisory and customized solutions across the entire platform of services, including capital markets, agency leasing, property management, valuation and advisory and construction management. Wollan will be working with Cushman & Wakefield’s institutional partners across the Americas as the firm continually refines and enhances its service offerings to best meet today’s needs while also anticipating future needs.

“I’ll be focusing on delivering customized, integrated solutions and advice to our institutional investor clients aimed at maximizing the value of their portfolios across the West,” Wollan tells GlobeSt.com. “A key reason for my joining Cushman & Wakefield is the deep bench of highly experienced and talented people across the platform, with whom I’ll be aligning in this role. With my background in capital markets informing my understanding of the levers that drive value throughout the asset life cycle, I will partner closely with our clients from the initial investment to the exit, and at every point in between to be sure we are delivering solutions based on their unique needs.”

Wollan joins Cushman & Wakefield from JLL, where she most recently served as senior vice president and COO of the Bay Area capital markets team, facilitating transactions exceeding $8 billion during a 14-year career. She is a member of NAIOP SFBA and the programs subcommittee chair of its recently formed Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accountability/IDEA committee.

“Kristina brings great experience in working closely with clients to understand their business priorities, challenges and opportunities. She will play a key role in delivering clients an integrated investor services solution, customized to maximize the value of their real estate portfolio,” said Carlo Barel di Sant’Albano, Cushman & Wakefield chief executive, global capital markets and investor services.

Cushman & Wakefield walks the talk when it comes to women in the industry. Its Women’s Integrated Network/WIN was created to accelerate the advancement of women working at Cushman & Wakefield. There are currently 34 chapters across the Americas with more than 1,460 members and plans to expand globally, GlobeSt.com learns.
