Romark Logistics Expands in Edison with 250,000 SF Lease

Commercial brokerage firm CBRE reports that the firm, which specializes in commerce fulfillment, omni-channel distribution and reverse logistics, has committed to an industrial lease of 249,853 square feet at the property.

EDISON, NJ—Romark Logistics has signed a lease totaling nearly 250,000 square feet of space at 145 Talmadge Road here.

Commercial brokerage firm CBRE reports that the firm, which specializes in commerce fulfillment, omni-channel distribution and reverse logistics, has committed to an industrial lease of 249,853 square feet at the property.

Scott Belfer of CBRE represented Romark Logistics, which is owned by New York Life Insurance Co. in the lease negotiations. The CBRE team of Scott Belfer, Nicholas Nitti and Lou Belfer acted on behalf of the ownership.

“When the space became available, it was being offered as a sublease,” say Belfer, a senior vice president, CBRE. “Working closely with ownership and the previous tenant, we were able to structure a long-term solution for all of the parties involved. Romark was able to take advantage of the existing infrastructure that was already in the building and expand its operations near its other warehouse, fulfillment and distribution facilities in the Edison market.”

Built in 1972, 145 Talmadge Road is located near I-287; the New Jersey Turnpike; Garden State Parkway; Routes 1, 9 and 27; and minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport, Trenton Mercer Airport and the Port. The 656,255 square-foot building features 28-foot ceiling heights, 27 tailboard doors, one drive-in entrance, 40-foot-by-40-foot column spacing, refrigeration space and solar power.
