CARTERET, NJ—Fitness equipment firm Pelton Interactive has signed a lease totaling 156,068 square feet of industrial space at 1500 Blair Road here.
The firm, which offers cutting-edge workout bikes for indoor cycling as well as other fitness related instruments, has taken occupancy of the space and is utilizing its new facility as a warehouse/distribution and fulfillment center.
The CBRE team of Scott Belfer and Lou Belfer negotiated the long-term lease transaction on behalf of Peloton Interactive. Additionally, CBRE's Thomas Monahan, Stephen D'Amato, Larry Schiffenhaus, Anastasia Lazarides, Lauren Griffith and Gerard Monahan represented the building ownership, AEW.
Belfer, a senior VP with CBRE, states that Pelton Interactive required a state-of-the-art warehouse distribution facility that offered convenient access to NewYork City and near a robust labor pool. He adds that the property's location with access to Midtown Manhattan, Newark Liberty International Airport and the Ports of Newark and Elizabeth was a key factor in the firm signing a long-term lease at the property.
