JLL Appoints Real Estate Vet to Head Tri-State Property Management
Gadaleta will oversee strategy and operations for the firm’s 13.5 million-square-foot portfolio as she replaces Managing Director Linda Aronson, who is hanging her hat after 37-year stint at JLL.
NEW YORK CITY – Jones Lang LaSalle has hired real estate veteran Caroline Gadaleta to head the firm’s property management business in the New York tri-state region, effective beginning January 2020.
Gadaleta will oversee strategy and operations for the firm’s 13.5 million-square-foot portfolio as she replaces Managing Director Linda Aronson, who is hanging her hat after 37 years at JLL.
“We thank Linda for her decades of success here at JLL,” said Mark Zettl, JLL’s president of office property management, in a prepared statement. “She was an exceptional example of the firm’s commitment to ethics and client care. We wish her the best in her well-deserved retirement.”
To assume the role, Gadaleta will leave her post as JLL Global Account Director, where she managed an estimated 160 professionals and an integrated facilities management portfolio of 2.5 million square feet throughout the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific. Previously, she led accounts for Diageo, Avon and oversaw the Midtown portfolio of a bank.
Before joining JLL, Gadaleta spent time at LaSalle Partners and Primedia Inc. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance/Real Estate from Columbia Business School.
