Three Years in the Making, Site Slates Early 2020 Finish

Sales will begin in early 2020 for Union House with pricing starting at $1.3 million for one-bedroom homes in the mixed-use development that will be an anchor for Union Street and provide much-needed housing.

Union House will feature 41 one-, two- and three-bedroom residences and townhomes.

SAN FRANCISCO—Union House is a mixed-use project that sits at the nexus of the Cow Hollow, Russian Hill, Pacific Heights and Marina neighborhoods, located at 1515 Union St. With the stone panel and bronze facade of the seven-story project nearly finished, construction of Union House is expected to be completed in early 2020, according to DM Development.

Union House will feature 41 one-, two- and three-bedroom residences and townhomes with high ceilings and oversized picture frame windows offering unobstructed views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Bay and Russian Hill. Sales will begin in early 2020, with pricing starting at $1.3 million for one-bedroom homes. Marketing and sales for Union House are managed by Polaris Pacific.

Designed by Handel Architects, the building is inspired by classic European boutique hotels. Features include a double-height lobby, a seated parlor with marble fireplace and custom plaster artwork by the Parisian design team at Atelier Premiere, a large rooftop sky lounge with panoramic views of the city and the Bay, and approximately 2,900 square feet of ground-level retail space. Union House will also offer a penthouse collection of five homes with upgraded features and private roof terraces.

“Mark and DM Development had a strong, clearly defined vision for Union House, and this allowed us to apply our best thinking toward the final project,” says Glenn Rescalvo, partner at Handel Architects. “In designing Union House, we reached back to the beautiful design elements of old San Francisco and Europe for inspiration. It was important to us that we create a sense of experience and arrival for residents as they enter the building through the front door and walk through the lobby and seated parlor with fireplace on their way to their home.”

Residences at Union House will feature European oak flooring, Italian Calacatta marble and polished nickel interior finishes. Homes will be furnished with Miele appliances and Waterworks fixtures. Oversized acoustically engineered windows provide a quiet interior experience, while allowing an abundance of natural light to flow into each residence.

Union House is within walking distance of a number of transportation options and boasts a projected Walk Score of 94, Bike Score of 73 and Transit Score of 91.
