DELTONA, FL—Amazon plans to open a fulfillment center here,creating more than 500 new, full-time jobs at $15 an hour and up,and comprehensive benefits. Employees at the more than onemillion-square-foot fulfillment center will pick, pack and shiplarge customer items, such as sports equipment, patio furniture,fishing rods, pet food, kayaks, bicycles, and larger householdgoods.

The project is being developed by Atlanta-based SeefriedIndustrial Properties, which has worked with Amazon on severalfulfillment centers in recent years, including a project in StoneMountain, Ga., announced in July.
