Oracle Inks 17,000 SF Lease for New Bridgewater Office

BRIDGEWATER, NJ—IT and cloud services provider Oracle has signed a 17,000-square-foot lease at Somerset Corporate Center 100 here.

The. long-term lease deal was signed with New York City-based SJP Properties, which announced the transaction. Oracle is relocating its Bridgewater, NJ field office to the complex. SJP’s third-party construction management division, will oversee the build-out of the third-floor office, which will house Oracle’s local executive team.

According to Oracle’s website, the firm’s current Bridgewater office is located at 400 Crossing Blvd. The firm maintains other field offices in New Jersey at East Brunswick, East Rutherford, Edison and Mt. Laurel. Oracle will occupy its new space in the first quarter of 2020, from which its local team will provide sales, consulting, education and support to its regional customers.

The Redwood Shores, CA-based multinational corporation sells database software and technology, cloud-engineered systems, and enterprise software products.

James Scancarella of Cresa represented Oracle in the lease transaction, while SJP was represented by Bronsnick and SJP Development analyst Laura Paridy.

Somerset Corporate Center consists of five Class A buildings totaling 1.2 million square feet situated around a 15-acre landscaped central park. Campus amenities and lifestyle services include athletic resort Life Time Athletic; the newly announced Life Time Work, the brand’s co-working concept; Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar and a 150-room AC Hotel by Marriott.

Earlier this week, SJP Properties announced that the law firm Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC is relocating and expanding its occupancy within 11 Times Square in Manhattan, moving to an 8,191-square-foot office on the 34th floor of the 1.1 million-square-foot Class A commercial tower.

CSG expanded its footprint into New York in 2016, taking roughly 5,000 square feet of space on the 31st floor of 11 Times Square.
