JLL Taps Micah Strader as EVP for Orlando Office Agency Team

Strader says the mobile workforce is here to stay, with office buildings and spaces continuing to adapt and provide the level of service and amenities contemporary tenants demand.

ORLANDO, FL⁠—JLL has hired Micah Strader as executive vice president for its local Office Agency team. Strader, who has 15 years’ experience, has completed nearly 4 million square feet of transactions and has advised numerous institutional clients including Croker Partners, Parmenter Realty, IP Capital, LaSalle Investment Management and West Second Street Associates.

“We’ve seen strong momentum in Orlando’s office market this past year and expect this trend to continue through 2020,” John Gilbert, managing director at JLL, says in prepared remarks. “Micah’s experience will enhance our ability to grow and service the needs of our clients.”

JLL said Strader has developed strong relationships in the Central Florida market over the past 15 years, which will help to amplify JLL’s portfolio.

Strader tells GlobeSt.com that the mobile workforce is here to stay, with office buildings and spaces continuing to adapt and provide the level of service and amenities contemporary tenants demand.

“The groups that anticipate these trends and are able to provide enhanced parking and services that meet the market and distinctive amenities will be most successful,” he said.

“I’m focused on providing solutions for office product,” Strader adds. “Within that product type, the demand has been broad-based across most industries. That said, the hospitality industry in south Orlando, the fintech industry in Lake Mary and the defense and engineering sectors in east Orlando have all out performed and I expect that they will continue to do so.”

Strader graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree and from Purdue University with a master’s degree.
