THE WOODLANDS, TX—Memorial Hermann/The Woodlands Medical Centeris soon to undergo a $250 million expansion and renovation. Theexpansion will add nearly half a million square feet to thecampus.

The centerpiece of the expansion will be the new332,510-square-foot eight-floor South Tower, which will include sixadditional operating rooms, endoscopy services, a post-acute careunit, a conference center, cardiopulmonary and catheterizationlabs, a 36-bed patient care unit, an intensive care unit, and threeshelled floors for future patient-bed growth, along with newregistration, waiting and observation areas.
