Another 15 tenants are expected to open at the Fashion District Philadelphia in the first half of 2020.

PHILADELPHIA—The Fashion District Philadelphia has attracted an impressive more than 4.6 million customers since its opening last September.

The property, owned by a joint venture between PREIT and Macerich, reports that 20 stores have opened in the first five months of operation. The ownership notes that in the first half of 2020 another 15 new tenants plan openings at the property.

Notable recent additions to the property include outlet tenants: Armani Exchange Outlet and Eddie Bauer Outlet; full-price retail tenants: Sephora and Torrid; and experiential destinations: AMC Theaters, Round 1, Wonderspaces and REC Philly.

In the food and beverage sector, joining Chickie's & Pete's and City Winery, The District will soon welcome Poke Sushi Express, Potato Corner, Wetzel's Pretzels and Big Gay Ice Cream.

Other notable upcoming additions at the property include workspace provider Industrious, as well as new-to-Philadelphia tenants, including: Kate Spade New York, DSW, Windsor, Yoyoso and Clair de Lune this spring. These retail brands will be joined by international fashion retailers, Primark and Ardene at the District.
